Born in Silesia into a musical family of a church organist/piano teacher mother and a banjo player father, first musical instrument was violin. Cornet/trumpet came later, during university studies – to make extra cash, with “The Abstinent Boys Jazz Band”. Started playing again after a long draught 10 years ago, mostly with local blues bands. Featured on most recent Drew Nelsons’ CD album. Leader of his own jazz group ( “Thursday’s at Ed’s”).
